MULCH
Mulch is a decorative and protective cover placed over soil to conserve moisture, inhibit weed growth and to lessen damage to plants caused by extreme temperatures. Typically, mulch is applied in a two- to three-inch layer. Natural mulches decompose over time and become part of the organic matter, similar to compost in soil.

A great buy for the price! Naturally dark and rich in color and made from a variety of woods, this shredded bark holds moisture in garden beds and will break down faster than other mulches providing nutrients to the soil.

CEDAR MULCH
Double ground and in its natural state, no dyes used. Cedar mulch decomposes at a slower rate, so it needs to be replenished less frequently. The resins in cedar mulch emit a pleasant scent. As with all our mulches, use as a decorative mulch or place around trees and flower beds to reduce weed growth. Will also help insulate plants in the winter and conserve moisture in the summer.

CERTIFIED PLAYGROUND MULCH
Certified Playground Mulch is the premium choice for playground surfacing. It is produced from virgin hardwood species, primarily oak, is double ground for consistency and tested to meet all ASTM standards (ASTM playground test results available upon request).

PINE FINES
A by-product of Pine Bark Mulch. Pine Fines make an excellent mulch for flower beds. Pine Bark is more acidic than most mulches and is an excellent choice for areas planted with acid loving plants like hollies, rhododendrons and azaleas.
